Extensive jQuery scripting was required to create the various user interactions on this project. HTML5 tags such as <video> were were used along with embedded elements to maximize browser comparability.

Built in processing, Media Cadaver loads videos and audio from the user’s Android device and lets them experience video in a new way. Effects are applied randomly with parameters from the video files and user touch interactions.

Ever wanted to send secret messages? I did too, so I wrote a heavily OOP focused web application to encode and decode whole novels hidden within .gif images.

Creating Spark Draw for the Northern Spark festival was a blast! Through the processing language, attendees of the event were able to use the light from their cell phones to interact and draw with the web cam enabled application.

Building The Hub Bike Co-op’s custom search engine was a very difficult task. Product and website article search results are fetched from just one MySQL query to reduce database load. These results are then formatted and paginated for simple and intuitive navigation.

I found many challenges as lead developer for this application. From designing the game’s framework, to orchestrating a system of asset delivery, to learning new skills in flash and team management. This project was full of personal firsts.
